Selling Sunset‘s Chrishell Stause has thanked fans of the show for voting for her to be named ‘Best Reality Star’ after she began talking about her sexuality.

The agent, who is currently in a relationship with the non-binary musician, G Flip (they/them) accepted the award on Sunday (5 June)

Chrishell first revealed her new relationship during the season five reunion episode which aired recently. Selling Sunset also won Best Docu-Reality Show at the Awards.

“Thank you so much”

Accepting the award Chrishell said: “Thank you so much, MTV. Thank you so much Adam DiVello and Skylar. I have to thank Netflix, our leaders. Jason, I… thank you guys so much and most importantly the whole cast.

“I wouldn’t be standing here, you can’t do a reality show without every single person that makes it work, so thank you guys so much.”

She then thanked the fans for supporting her in her new relationship.

“And just really quick, I knew about this nomination before I had said anything about my sexuality, I’m not trying to get really deep with you guys, but the fact that this was voted on after means so much to me because I wasn’t sure how that was gonna go and thank you so much, guys. I appreciate it,” she said.

After first opening up about being with G Flip, Chrishell explained more in an Instagram post in May.

In a five-minute video, the agent explained that for her “it is about the person. It’s about their heart.” She added that she is “attracted to masculine energy, and I don’t really care what the physical form is.”

G Flip commented: “Well said beautiful” while her previous partner, Jason Oppenheim said: “Such a beautiful video. ❤️💯”
