Ryan Murphy teases another image of the Coven in ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’

The new 'Murder House' and 'Coven' crossover season is already in full swing in the US

By Steve Brown

Ryan Murphy has teased another image of the witches returning in American Horror Story: Apocalypse.

The eighth season is already in full swing with the first episode airing in the US last Wednesday (September 12) – sadly UK audiences have to wait until the end of the month – and we already know many characters are returning for the Murder House and Coven crossover season.

The series creator shared pictures of the stars of Coven on the set of American Horror Story: Apocalypse, including legendary rocker Stevie Nicks, who made a couple of memorable cameo appearances as herself back in 2013.

Pictured alongside the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman were Coven favourites Sarah Paulson (who plays Coven Supreme Cordelia Goode), Emma Roberts (Madison Montgomery), Lily Rabe (Misty Day), Taissa Farmiga (Zoe Benson), Gabourey Sidibe (Queenie) and Frances Conroy (Myrtle Snow).

Now, ahead of episode two this week, Murphy has teased another look at the witches as well as Cheyenne Jackson’s character and Leslie Grossman – who looks to be playing two characters in the new season – but Roberts and Rabe were both absent from the image.

Murphy captioned the image: “On Wednesdays we still wear black.”

The season has already been praised for the first episode and we cannot wait to see what is in store for the survivors of the Apocalypse and how the Coven will battle against the Anti-Christ Michael Langdon, played by the dreamy Cody Fern.
