Ryan Murphy reveals the Coven witches will return in ‘American Horror Story’

The series creator confessed they won't be back next season but will definitely appear again

With American Horror Story: Apocalypse behind us – and many still undecided about that ending – the theme for next season is already being speculated.

Fans went wild when series creator Ryan Murphy revealed that Apocalypse would be a crossover season with Murder House and Coven and the return of the beloved witches made the season – of course Cody Fern as the AntiChrist also helped.

But now Murphy has teased that the witches from Coven – including Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Gabourey Sidibe and newcomers Billie Lourd and Leslie Grossman – will all be returning once again.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Murphy said: “The witches will be back. Not next season but we have something really fun planned.”

Murphy also teased that he has an idea for the next season and will be meeting some of the regular cast members to tell them.

He said: “I can’t say what it is! I’m going to this luncheon, and many of the Horror Story actors are there, and I’m gonna tell them for the first time.

“So, I have to tell them first.”

We are already excited to see our favourite Coven return! But does it also mean Billy Porter and Cheyenne Jackson will be returning as the warlocks? We hope so!
