The two-day drag extravaganza will give fans the chance to meet Ru, Michelle, and queens from both US and UK editions of the show.

With RuPaul’s Drag Race UK set to kick off on BBC on 3 October, drag fever shows no sign of abating in Britain with the news that RuPaul’s DragCon is heading to these shores for the first time.

The two-day extravaganza, which has previously been held in LA and New York, will descend on London’s Olympia exhibition centre over the weekend of 18-19 January 2020, giving fans the chance to celebrate all things drag and meet some some of the show’s most famous faces – including Ru himself.

Organisers have already revealed that Drag Race’s Emmy-winning host will DJ on the Main Stage on both Saturday and Sunday, and that judge Michelle Visage will also be in attendance.

Visage – who’s currently taking part in the latest series of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing – announced news of DragCon’s British debut at DragCon in New York over the weekend, and later confirmed on Twitter that queens from both the US and UK editions of the show will be in attendance.

The queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK also filmed their own promo clips to mark the event’s debut, also presenting us with our first chance to see them out of drag…

With tickets on sale now, we’re already cracking open the piggy bank.
