Shantay you stay! Both RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked have been renewed on VH1 and will return to rule over the channel.

The show will celebrate the milestone of the 200th episode on the upcoming 15th season of Drag Race while Untucked will continue to air after the new Drag Race episodes.

“When I hear season 15 of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race,’ I have to pinch myself – I just won’t tell you where,” said award-winning host and executive producer, RuPaul said in a statement to Variety.

“We never take for granted the opportunity we’ve been given to showcase drag excellence and tell authentic queer stories,” RuPaul continues. “Thank you to the fans, World of Wonder, VH1, our cast and crew, and most of all, our brave and beautiful queens.”

The show revived a record-breaking 11 Emmy nominations this year, including Outstanding Competition Program and Outstanding Host.

If RuPaul wins the latter, it will mark the seventh time the host has taken the award home.

In season 14 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Willow Pill took the crown, the first trans winner of the main season, in a memorable competition against contestants Lady Camden, Bosco, Daya Betty, and Angeria Paris VanMichaels.

After Drag Race season 14, the franchise showcased its first all-winners season (Drag Race All Stars) where Jinkx was crowned the ‘Queen of All Queens’ after a fierce battle with legendary queens like Jaida Essence Hall, Monét X Change, Raja, The Vivienne, Trinity the Tuck, Shea Couleé and Yvie Oddly.

RuPaul’s Drag Race empire has another new spinoff: RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race, the second season of which has a unique twist where the celeb’s identity will remain a mystery until they ‘sashay away.’

The new season of RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race is now available in the UK on WOW Presents Plus.

The Attitude September/October issue is out now.
