Lord knows the world could do with a little positivity right now, so the timing couldn’t be better for the arrival of Queer Eye season five.

Netflix have confirmed that the Fab Five – Jonathan Van Ness, Bobby Berk, Tan France, Karamo Brown and Antoni Porowski – will be back in our lives on 5 June, so you can get stockpiling the tissues again now (we’re kidding, do not do that).

This time around, the boys are heading to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for another batch of uplifting life overhauls – and at 10 episodes, it’s officially the biggest season of Queer Eye yet.

A statement from Netflix confirms that the Fab Five are heading to “the birthplace of the [United States], to bring their infectious brand of self-love, confidence and encouragement to a whole new roster of heroes.”

Back in March, the streaming service confirmed that the seven-time Emmy Award winning Queer Eye has already been picked up for a sixth season which will be set in Austin, Texas.

Queer Eye season 5 arrives on Netflix on 5 June.
