Netflix’s Queer Eye has been renewed for a third season.

The Emmy-nominated reality show will begin production on its third season later this summer, Netflix has announced.

Though the first two seasons of the show took place in Atlanta, Georgia, the new series will be based in Kansas City, Missouri.

Netflix released a short teaser of the upcoming season on Twitter yesterday (July 13), alongside the caption: “Get in, henny! We’re taking a road trip. Are you ready for Season 3? Kansas City, Missouri HERE. WE. COME.”

The streaming giant announced the news after the show earned four Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including Best Structured Reality Program.

Fab Five Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness and Tan France are all expected to return when the show premieres in 2019, though it’s unknown when.

Meanwhile, in Attitude’s July issue, the Fab Five spoke exclusively on how the show has changed them.

“Being in a comfort bubble with the [Queer Eye] guys, getting praised for being ourselves, has changed me,” explains the group’s resident food expert Antoni.

“As a result of the show, I feel I’m openly gay and I wasn’t before. I’ve had the safety to start wearing brighter things. I wore a twin pyjama set last night, I paint my toenails now.

“I’ve always had a feminine side but it’s been on the inside. To be able to express it on the outside without any shame is really nice.”
