Pornhub Premium is now free for everyone during lockdown

It's time to stay home and do your bit for humanity.

By Will Stroude

As the UK enters its second week of official lockdown, it’s easy to feel discouraged about the state of the world.

Luckily, the good folks at Pornhub have decided to help boost national morale by offering all the site’s premium content for free for the next four weeks, to help us all through these lonely days of self-isolation.

Until 23 April, users everywhere will be able to freely access Pornhub Premium, which normally costs $9.99 a month and offers adult videos in HD quality without ads.

Guess there really is no need to go out, then.

All you need to do to get access is to commit to do your bit in the battle against coronavirus, ticking either a box declaring you’ll self-isolate, or, if you’re one of the people who still has to leave the house for work, that you’ll maintain social distancing and wash your hands.

“With nearly one billion people in lockdown across the world because of the coronavirus pandemic, it’s important that we lend a hand and provide them with an enjoyable way to pass the time”, Corey Price, Vice President of Pornhub, said in a statement.

“We hope by expanding our offer of free Pornhub Premium worldwide, people have an extra incentive to stay home and flatten the curve.”

Free porn at home isn’t the only way Pornhub is helping during the current crisis though: the site has already promised to dontate 50,000 surgical masks to emergency service workers in New York.

They’ve also pledged to give adult performers 85 per cent of the earnings made from their videos for the whole of April, to help content creators, err, ride this out, as it were.

“When a global human crisis happens, it is up to everyone to work together to help support the community,” Price said. “We have always been a global community, hosting over 130,000 models from every corner of the earth.

“We stand by our performers and models and we will continue working on other projects to assist the community during this challenging time.”
