Police officer nails Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’ routine during packed student pep rally – WATCH

By Will Stroude

2nd Lieutenant Deuntay Diggs came to slay North Stafford High School in Virginia, US, last week.

The officer, who was the first openly gay cadet at Virginia Military Institute before going on to be the first openly gay deputy to work at Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, delivered a flawless performance of Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’ choreography to cheering crowds at the school last week.

Speaking to BuzzFeed, Lieutenant Diggs explained how he first performed the routine to raise money for kids in need of school supplies.“I basically learned the choreography the night before I performed it for the first time,” he said.

“I’m a huge Beyoncé fan. So the night before, I just watched her video on YouTube over and over again, and then I memorized it, practiced it, and the next day I did it.”

The first performance was so enjoyed so much that he decided to take it to a bigger audience – leading to his fabulous performance at North Stafford High, which you can check out below.
