‘Orange Is the New Black’ cast wish Brighton ‘Happy Pride!’

Three of the stars of Orange Is the New Black have wished everyone attending Brighton Pride this Saturday (August 2) a happy celebration.

Actresses Taylor Schilling (Piper), Laura Prepon (Alex) and Danielle Brooks (Taystee) have filmed a special video message in which Taylor Schilling says “a huge hello” to everyone going the event.

“Especially fans of Orange Is the New Black!” adds Brooks.

Yesterday (July 29), Prime Minister David Cameron and Labour leader Ed Miliband also sent message of support to Brighton Pride revellers, with Miliband praising the “fantastic” city’s diversity – watch his full video message here.

Brighton Pride festival takes place at the city’s Preston Park this Saturday (August 2) and will feature performances from Neon Jungle, Blue, Katy B and more. The parade will begin by the Brighton Wheel on Madeira Drive at 11am. For more information visit the Brighton Pride website.
