The multi-award-winning drag queen movie Tucked is set to hit UK and Ireland cinemas next month.

Tucked follows Jackie, played by Derren Nesbitt, a gender non-conforming 80+ drag queen, who is determined to go out with a bang after being diagnosed with cancer.

But while they live an exciting life, at home Jackie is confronted by solitude and regrets.

Then a young, non-binary performer Faith, played by Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens, appears in the dressing room and Jackie is forced to show them the ropes.

Despite differences, the two realise they have a lot in common and become other’s support.

The UK movie – which had its UK premiere at this year’s BFI Flare: London’s LGBTQ Film Festival – is written and directed by Jamie Patterson and has been met with critical acclaim and won multiple international awards including both Grand Jury and Audience Awards at LA OUTFest.

And now, UK and Ireland audiences will be able to watch the new movie as it is set to hit cinemas from May 17.
