Michelle Visage to front new BBC Three lockdown series ‘How’s Your Head, Hun?’

The 'RuPaul's Drag Race' star is throwing a "weekly house party" to keep our collective spirits up.

The idea of an extended lockdown just got a little easier with the news that Michelle Visage is set to front a new BBC Three series from her LA home.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race judge is set to lift her spirits with a weekly show called How’s Your Head, Hun?, which will see her invite viewers into her home (though not literally, in this current climate) as she attempts a series of “lockdown projects”.

With cameras installed around Visage’s home and the former Strictly star’s husband and children acting as camera operators, BBC Three is billing the show as a “weekly house party” which will air each Tuesday – though an exact premiere date is yet to be confirmed.

A synopsis reads: “For Michelle some of it is new territory, such as the kitchen. She’s baked banana bread, is learning Italian; planting pomegranate trees, reorganising her extensive wardrobes, de-cluttering the house, investing in very glamorous loungewear, researching new ways to maintain her diva looks and training her newly adopted dog. She’s staying in with style!

“Just like you, Michelle’s had her bad days and good days in lockdown, but we’re all in this together. Let’s stay in and stay sane together. Anybody fancy a vogue?”

Michelle says: “I am SO excited to give everyone’s anxiety and worry a rest with How’s Your Head, Hun. When you see how quarantine life is with MY family and friends, we will all be laughing together! Get ready!”

Fiona Campbell, Controller of BBC Three says: “Michelle is a big favourite of ours and her humour, heart and sharp putdowns are always welcome on BBC Three.

“We’re looking forward to peeking through the window to see her life in lockdown and we hope this series offers some light relief for everyone.”

How’s Your Head, Hun? will air weekly on BBC Three in the UK.
