Michelle Visage has revealed that Dolly Parton has been turning down a guest judging spot on RuPaul’s Drag Race for over a decade.

Is the ‘Jolene’ singer throwing shade at RuPaul again?! Well, not exactly.

Speaking at a digital press conference ahead of the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Michelle said the issue is more to do with scheduling.

“It’s a very long day for these people”

“Just to let everybody know we have asked Dolly Parton for 11, 12, 13 years,” said the star.

“At the end of the day it’s scheduling, and it’s a very long day for these people.”

We don’t doubt it.

Michelle added: “To just calm everybody down we do ask Cher, we do ask Madonna, we do ask Liza, we do ask Dolly, we ask everybody, and scheduling is always the conflict.

“It took years to get Gaga, but we got her.”

The 2020 Attitude Ally Award winner will be joined on RPDR UK SE2 – launching 14 January 2021 – by guest judges including Dawn French and Elizabeth Hurley.
