Madonna’s guitarist says new album sounds “awesome!”
By Josh Haggis

Madonna’s guitarist Monte Pittman has shared his thoughts on the singer’s forthcoming album.
Pittman has played guitar for the Queen of Pop on every tour since 2001’s ‘Drowned World Tour’ – and has also co-written several of her songs over the years, including fan favourite Easy Ride from her American Life album.
A fan recently asked the guitarist on Twitter how Madonna’s new album is shaping up – and he duly replied:
“@Lorena_MDNA: @montepittman what do you think of Madonna’s upcoming album?” What I heard was awesome!

Madonna has been teasing details about her upcoming album on Instagram in recent months. She has revealed that she is working with the likes of Natalia Kills, Diplo and Avicii on new material.
She also hinted that she might be working with UK dance act Disclosure, but the duo have since dismissed these rumours.
Meanwhile, she recently unveiled lyrics from a new song called Messiah, which may be released as the lead single from the record.
Madonna’s last studio album, MDNA, was released in 2012 and reached Number One in the US and UK. She scored her 13th and most recent UK chart-topping single with 4 Minutes in 2008.
Earlier this week, fans started to speculate that Madonna is planning a world tour after an Aussie ticket site set up a “wait list” for tickets – click here to find out more.
