Madonna asked ‘Game of Thrones’ star to borrow costume

By Josh Haggis

Emilia-Clarke

Emilia Clarke has revealed that Madonna asked her if she could borrow one of her Game of Thrones outfits.

The actress, who plays Daenerys on the hit HBO show, shared the story on The Tonight Show in the US yesterday (March 20).

Recalling her shock at the request, Clarke said: “I thought I was dreaming. I got an email [from HBO’s publicity department] asking ‘Madonna wants to borrow the costume – is that ok?'”

She continued: “I was like, ‘I must be dreaming.”

The Queen of Pop’s wish was granted and she posted a picture of herself wearing the costume on Instagram last week. See below.
