Luke Evans will be covering Cher’s iconic song ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’ on his debut album ‘At Last’.

Earlier this year, the Beauty and the Beast star announced he will be releasing his first album and now, the actor-turned-singer has revealed some of the covers that will be featured on the album.

The album – which will be released on November 22 – will cover the likes of Pat Benatar’s rock classic ‘Love is a Battlefield’, which will be released this Friday (October 11).

Other tracks include U2’s ‘With Or Without You’, Maria McKee’s ‘Show Me Heaven’, Roberta Flack’s ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’ and Cher’s iconic track ‘If I Could Turn back Time’.

Speaking on the album, Evans said: “The album is a reimagining of very well-known tracks.

“So, we were looking for tracks that we could strip right back down to the bare essentials and then add new arrangements.

“Turning an Eighties pop anthem or power ballad into something more acoustic or intimate – but retaining the essence of the original.”

Writing on Twitter, Evans teased the new single and wrote: “‘AT LAST’, my debut is finally finished and is out on November 22nd!

“The first track ‘Love Is A Battlefield’ is out this Friday, here’s a little teaser…

“And if you pre-order the album from my official store, I’ll send a signed photo along with the album: https://lukeevans.lnk.to/atlastTW”
