Love Island’s Noah Purvis ‘removed’ from show amid gay porn claims

Love Island star Noah Purvis has officially been “removed” from the US version of the show, it has emerged.

The timing has raised some fans’ eyebrows due to coinciding reports that the 24-year-old reality star previously appeared in adult films.

Fans have been speculating why Purvis has been missing since last Sunday night’s episode.

In a statement issued to Entertainment Tonight yesterday, CBS and ITV America said: “It has been brought to our attention that cast member Noah Purvis provided false information on his application to Love Island, which violates his contestant agreement.

“He has been removed from the show.”

The star’s bio and photos have also been moved from the Love Island website.

Purvis made his first appearance on the show on day 26, the 17 September episode. He also appeared on the following day’s episode. He is yet to address his exit publicly.

Just two days before his removal from the show, a Love Island viewer posted on Twitter claiming that Purvis had appeared in an adult film for Corbin Fisher under the name ‘Ethan’.

One fan reacted: “@CBS you’re such a hypocrite. You’ve fired him for gay porn past but allow people on island to have sex? Homophobia at finest!”

“Why can’t he be a porn actor star, and be on love island i do not see the problem?” asked another.

His last Instagram post from three days ago is a screengrab of the show in which he is seen trying to impress fellow Islander Moira.

“Noah is certianly going in for the ‘professional close’ with Moria,” a caption to the photo reads. “What did you guys think, is Moria the one for Noah?”

Attitude has approached Purvis for comment.
