Louis Walsh: ‘I’m not signed up for The X Factor yet’
By Josh Haggis

Louis Walsh isn’t signed up for the new series of The X Factor yet.
The Irish music manager has sat on the show’s judging panel since it began ten years ago, but has yet to receive a contract for the eleventh series from Simon Cowell.
In an interview with the Irish Mirror, Walsh said: “I’m not worried at all to tell you the truth. If Simon [Cowell] asks me to definitely do it, and they send me a contract, then of course I will [sign it]. I’ll do it because of my friendship with him and for the craic.”
He continued: “I’m not in it for the money and I’m not losing any sleep over it.”
Last week (April 10), Cowell discussed the possibility of Walsh returning to the panel, saying: “Louis [Walsh] I would like to come back, but it’s a decision I’ve got to make with the producers and ITV, so we’ll see what happens.”
Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole are returning to the judging panel later in 2014, following a three-series absence, but it is currently unclear who will fill the other two vacant seats.
Last month (March), Walsh suggested that Ellie Goulding may be joining the ITV show for its eleventh series.
