Lindsay Lohan won’t be returning to ‘Life-Size’ sequel

The actress was reportedly set to reprise her role in the upcoming sequel

Lindsay Lohan won’t be returning to Life-Size 2 due to conflicting schedules.

Recently Tyra Banks teased fans that both herself and the Mean Girls star were to return for the anticipated sequel to the hit 2000 comedy.

However, according to Entertainment Weekly, Lohan is unable to film the upcoming movie because of a conflicting schedule with a reality TV show.

The original Life-Size told the story of a seventh grader Casey (Lohan) who brings her doll Eve (Banks) to life after a spell to resurrect her dead mother goes wrong.

The sequel, which was first announced last year, is set to follow Eve as she helps a young woman “learn to live and love again” in what is described as “a fun, edgy, modern Christmas movie.”

Earlier this month, Banks took to Instagram to reveal her co-star for the sequel would be Grown-ish star Francia Raisa.

She wrote: “”Now filming: LIFE SIZE 2,” she tweeted at the time. “It’s time y’all! You’ve waited long enough. Could not find one single woman more perfect to co-star with Eve than the magnificently fierce @franciaraisa.”

Life-Size 2 is expected to arrive on Freeform this December.
