Lady Gaga shines opposite Bradley Cooper in new clips from ‘A Star Is Born’ – WATCH

The romantic musical drama is coming to slay us all on October 5.

A Star Is Born looks set to be one of 2018’s movie standouts – if the early reviews are anything to go by, that is – and now we’ve got not one but three more looks at Bradley Cooper’s remake of the Hollwood classic courtesy of Lady Gaga.

Mother Monster, who is already winning early plaudits for her performance as struggling singer Ally in the third remake of the 1937 romantic musical drama, shared three new teaser clips on Instagram on Thursday (6 September), giving fans further insight into her character’s relationship with jaded rock star Jackson (Cooper).

A Star Is Born, which was adapted into a 1954 musical starring Judy Garland and James Mason and reimagined as a 1976 rock musical with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, marks Bradley Coopers directorial debut as well as Gaga’s first major big screen role since 2013’s Machete Kills.

The film features an entirely new soundtrack, the vast majority of which has been co-written by Gaga herself. It’s set for release on October 5 to coincide with the film’s release.
