We love a good cross over and what’s a better (and more gay) cross-over than Kylie Minogue and Lady Gaga!?

‘Magic’ singer Kylie has covered Gaga’s ‘Marry the Night’ as part of the Born This Way tenth-anniversary album, and It. Is. Glorious!

Kylie is the latest artist to cover a track, after Orville Peck and Big Freedia recorded new versions of ‘Born This Way’ and ‘Judas’ respectively. The special edition album is now set to be released on 25 June.

“Ok wow u really did that !!!!!!”

Kylie gives us a 1980s electric synth version of the Gaga classic, which feels like it comes from her latest album, Disco. We’ll just have to add this to the now very long list of songs we can’t wait to hear when we can go out and dance again!

We’re not the only ones loving the track either.

Posting the track on Instagram, the Aussie pop princess encouraged people to join her in celebrating the anniversary of the iconic album.

‘Starstruck’ singer Olly Alexander commented, “IT LIFTED ME INTO THE STRATOSPHERE”, while former Attitude cover star and recipient of our 2020 Breakthrough Artist award, Rina Sawayama, said, “Ok wow u really did that !!!!!!” Yes, yes she did just do that.

The Born This Way album, released back in 2011, shattered records worldwide. To date, the album has been streamed more than 5.8 billion times and 5.2 million physical copies have been sold.

The 4-time platinum album was Gaga’s first #1 album hitting the 1 spot in 25 countries. Rolling Stone named it one of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Born This Way: The Tenth Anniversary will include all-new packaging and six reimagined versions of songs from the album created by artists representing and advocating for the LGBTQ community – as well as the 14 original tracks.

We have yet to find out who will be covering ‘Highway Unicorn (Road to Love)’, ‘Yoü and I’. ‘The Edge of Glory’, but if they’re anything like what we’ve got so far, we can only wait with anticipation! And we’re not sure we can really wait that long!
