Kim Kardashian has been slammed online after insinuating that male model and actor Tyson Beckford is gay.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashains, 37, has been accused of homophobia after clapping back at Beckford’s own criticism of her body by appearing to question his sexuality.

It all began when Beckford, 47, took aim at the reality star’s physique in the comments under a picture of Kardashian that had been shared on Instagram.

“Sorry I Don’t care for it personally”, he wrote, before adding separately: “She is not real, doctor fucked up on her right hip.”

Soon after, an Instagram account called The Shade Room reshared the image of alongside Beckford’s comments with their 13 million followers, and Kardashian took the opportunity to hit back.

“Sis we all know why you don’t care for it”, she wrote underneath the image, before pointedly adding a cup of tea emoji.

The clap-back was widely interpreted by users as a comment on Beckford’s sexuality, and many were unhappy with the tone of the remark.

“Kim Kardashian called Tyson Beckford “sis,” implying that he’s gay, as a response to him not liking her body. THE HOMOPHOBIA JUMPED OUT!!!” wrote one user.

Another added: “Regardless of whether fine ass Tyson Beckford is gay or not, taking a jab/insinuating that he’s gay bc he’s not into particular body type is PROBLEMATIC.”

Despite the criticism levelled at Kardashian, others were quick to point out that Beckford’s own comments were an unprovoked attack on a woman’s body shape – and many agreed that perhaps both should keep their comments to themselves in future.

“tyson beckford should have kept his mouth shut and minded his business like the grown ass man he is and kim k shouldn’t be “clapping back” with homophobia”, wrote on user.

“idc [I don’t care] if u dont like kim, misogyny isnt cool and neither his homophobia [sic]”
