The actor said he would have jumped in front of a train

Kevin McHale admitted if Glee performed Beyonce’s Lemonade it would have been “blasphemous”.

The hit Ryan Murphy show – which ran from 2009 to 2015 – gave hundreds of songs the Glee Club treatment, some were great, some were not, but McHale, who play Artie, is thankful Beyonce’s Lemonade album was released after the show ended.

While on Twitter, McHale – who recently came out as gay – expressed his relief and said he would have “jumped in front of a train” if he found out they were singing hits from the album.

He wrote a response to a fan on Twitter and said: “I would’ve thrown my body in front of that train. Never would’ve happened on my Bey watch.”

Another fan of the show then defended the idea saying Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Rachel (Lea Michele) performing ‘Formation’ would have been “#the shit”.

But McHale responded saying: “It really wouldn’t have been. That’d be blasphemous.”
