Kesha to judge US TV singing competition ‘Rising Star’

By Josh Haggis

Kesha

Kesha is to serve as a judge on upcoming US TV singing competition Rising Star.

The singer will sit alongside rapper Ludacris and country singer Brad Paisley on the panel of the ABC talent show, which is set to debut on June 22 in the US.

Rising Star will feature unknown singers performing in front of a video wall, with viewers voting for each contestant in real time while he or she sings, reports EW.

Much like The X Factor and The Voice, the three judges will then offer feedback on the contestant’s performances – but the public will be given the ultimate decision as to who stays and who goes.

Kesha, 27, is easing back into the spotlight since leaving rehab on March 7, after a two-month stay where she sought treatment for eating disorders.

Here at attitude.co.uk we have a lot of time for the singer, who has always been very supportive of the gay community – and recently we shared a few reasons why.
