Kanye West: ‘Supporting Trump doesn’t mean I don’t believe in gay marriage’

Rapper Kanye West stunned fans on Thursday night (November 17) when he stopped his concert to tell them that he didn’t vote in last week’s election, but “would have voted for Trump.”
The 39-year-old, who’s known for his controversial comments, revealed there were things he liked about the president-elect’s campaign in a political rant that ran for more than 25 minutes, according to Heavy.
“There’s methods, non-political methods to speaking, that I like – that I feel were very futuristic,” West told his fans. “That style and that method of communication has proven that it can be a politically correct way of communication. And I f*ck with that.”
“[Voting for Trump] don’t mean that I don’t think that black lives matter; that don’t mean I don’t believe in women’s rights; that don’t mean that I don’t believe in gay marriage.”
He then urged his fans to “stop focusing on racism.”
“This world is racist, okay? Let’s stop being distracted to focus on that as much. It’s just a f*cking fact: We are a racist country, period.”
West then stated that if he does run for president in 2020, he has real ideas that includes urging political parties to come together and share ideas to run the country.
Will it happen? We’re just not sure anymore.
West is currently on travelling for his Saint Pablo Tour to promote his sventh solo album ‘The Life of Pablo’.
