Jonathan Van Ness hits back at online trolls after wearing a dress at the Emmy Awards.

The Queer Eye star was joined by his boyfriend Wilco Froneman at the prestigious award ceremony -where the Netflix reboot won three awards – and the hair stylist donned a fabulous sheer dress but he was met with a number of transphobic comments on his Instagram account.

One commenter wrote: “The guy in the dress looks like the villain in despicable me 3.”

However, Jonathan hit back at the troll and said: “I look f****ing stunning and my name is Jonathan, snap chat filter using on your insta tiny circle private profile having self.

“Also, I love all these transphobic comments in here. ‘The guy in the dress’ is insulting and anyone that doesn’t see the implications is blind.

“F***ing [rude] people. I’m too tired.”
