John Barrowman doesn’t think his husband Scott Gill is ready to have children

John Barrowman doesn’t think his husband is ready to have children.
The actor – who is best known for starring in the Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood and now Arrow – is currently a contestant on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here and while speaking to other contestants on the ITV show, he confessed how he’d love to adopt a child.
However, Barrowman went on to say that he doesn’t believe his husband Scott Gill – who he married in 2013 after two decades together – isn’t ready for the commitment of a child.
Barrowman said: “I can’t just go out and buy one at Tesco and bring it home.
“It has to be a partnership think and I don’t think Scott is ready for it. He keeps saying to me, ‘If you wanna do it, just do it’. However, I can’t just do that, as he has to be on board.
“At the moment, I’ve got a company that I run with my business partner, and I’m still on Arrow, and I’m travelling all over the place, and it would be unfair to have a child that I would never really see.”
