John Barrowman cut from Doctor Who: Time Fracture after exposure allegations

John Barrowman has been cut from the upcoming Doctor Who: Time Fracture immersive theatrical production following allegations of inappropriate behaviour on the sets of Doctor Who and Torchwood.
According to The Guardian, the actor – who played Captain John Harkwood on the BBC programmes – repeatedly exposed himself to coworkers in the 00s.
Witnesses called the behaviour “larking about” and “joking” rather than ‘anything amounting to sexually predatory behaviour’.
In a statement to the publication, Barrowman admitted to non-sexual “tomfoolery” and “high-spirited behaviour […] only ever intended in good humour to entertain colleagues on set and backstage.”
Time Fracture is due to open on 26 May in London and originally featured a prerecord appearance from Barrowman.

In a statement, the production company said: “Immersive Everywhere has taken the decision to remove [John Barrowman’s] pre-record from Doctor Who: Time Fracture.
“We will continue to include content that pays tribute to the brilliant show that is Torchwood so as not to disappoint its fans, and are working on an exciting storyline to be announced soon.”
In the Guardian’s original report, Barrowman’s former colleagues Monica (not her real name) said: “Sometimes he’d call me into his dressing room, and I would knock on the door and he’d say, ‘Oh, look at this’, and he’d just have his willy out, standing in the doorway. It was kind of accepted that it was his thing.”
She emphasised that she didn’t feel unsafe, but said: “It just felt really uncomfortable.”
Lawyers for Barrowman, who is gay, said he did not recall the incident.
Attitude has approached a rep for Barrowman for comment.
