James Franco releases trailer for BDSM documentary ‘Kink’

A new trailer for James Franco’s documentary about the world of BDSM has been released.

Titled Kink, the documentary takes a behind-the-scenes look at Kink.com, the internet’s largest producer of BDSM content, and explores the reasons why people are attracted to the roleplay fetish.

Franco served as a producer on the documentary, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will receive a limited release in US cinemas from Friday (August 22).

Franco previously explored similar themes in 2013’s Interior. Leather Bar, a film he co-directed which was inspired by the making of notoriously explicit 1980 gay film Cruising.
