Kelly Clarkson was moved to tears after watching a couple perform on The Voice US.

The duo, Adam and Jerome – also known as OneUp – performed the soul classic ‘Could It Be I’m Falling in Love’ by The Spinners and Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Blake Shelton all hit the red button.

After revealing how they met and subsequently fell in love with each other, Clarkson was brought to tears and said: “At a time in this country when it’s so divisive, this is such a beautiful thing.

“It is proof that in this country love is limitless. It can happen anywhere, any way.

“It’s the most beautiful thing that’s happened to me this season.”

The duo – who also invited their family on stage – where then forced to decide whether they wanted to be mentored by either Clarkson, Hudson or Shelton.
