Hollyoaks’ Harry and Ste set to become homeless

By Ben Kelly

One of soapland’s favourite gay couples are set to find themselves on the streets in an upcoming Hollyoaks storyline tackling homelessness.

A new video released by the Channel 4 soap shows Ste (Kieron Richarson) and Harry (Parry Glasspool) – or ‘Starry’, as their legions of fans like to call them – rehearsing a scene which sees them living on the street.

“As you can probably tell from this get up, things are gonna get pretty tough for Starry soon,” says Kieron Richardson, who plays Ste.

“We are homeless. Things are not all peachy in paradise,” adds Parry Glasspool, who plays Harry.

“I’m sure someone’s gonna feel sorry for us and take us in,” Kieron adds, implying it’s not all doom and gloom.

The pair had recently been forced to move in temporarily with Ste’s estranged husband John Paul, after they were kicked out by the Lomax family for using cocaine. Now, it looks like they might be about to burn that bridge too.

We recently caught up with Parry to discuss the young star’s steamy onscreen love scenes, nude bathroom selfies and his rapidly growing gay fanbase – read the interview in full here.

Hollyoaks airs week nights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look on E4 at 7pm.
