Gwen Stefani to replace Christina Aguilera on ‘The Voice’ US

Gwen Stefani has announced she is to become a coach on The Voice US.

The Hollaback Girl singer confirmed recent rumours that she would be joining the show on Instagram yesterday (April 29).

She posted a picture of herself making the ‘V’ sign – which is synonymous with the show – with her fingers, along with the caption: “It’s true!”

Stefani will replace Christina Aguilera on the show this Autumn for The Voice US’s seventh season, joining previously-confimed coaches Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
