hit-maker Ariana Grande has shared a few teasers about her forthcoming collaboration with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj, saying it sounds like a song from Disney’s Hercules.

The collaboration, titled Bang Bang, will serve as the lead single from Jessie J’s upcoming third album and will also appear on the Deluxe Edition of Grande’s new album My Everything. It’s scheduled to premiere on July 29.

Recalling her time recording the track with producers Max Martin and Savan Kotecha, Grande told Attitude: “I said whoever sings the chorus needs to be like three soul divas. I wanted it to sound like Hercules – like the muses in Hercules.

“Fierce gospel singing is what I wanted,” Grande continued. “I wanted it to sound like that, and it literally ended up sounding like it came out of a fierce music project written by [renowned Disney songs composer] Alan Menken.”

Describing the sound of the finished track, Grande said: “To me it sounds very theatrical and campy and I think it’s very sassy, fun and tongue-in-cheek.”

“And Jessie is wailing which is my favourite bit!” she added.

Although the full version of Bang Bang won’t be unveiled until July 29, Jessie J has already a shared a 15-second teaser clip – click here to listen to it.

Ariana Grande’s new album My Everything is set for release on August 24 and will feature Problem, her recent UK Number One single, as well as Break Free, her next single, a massive dance banger which you can listen to here.
