Gay teen drama ‘Love, Simon’ gets romantic new trailer – WATCH

Jurassic World's Nick Robinson stars in one of the year's most eagerly-anticipated LGBT films.

American comedy-drama Love, Simon is already looking like one to watch in 2018, and now we’ve got a second look a the gay coming-of-age movie in the form of a brand new full-length trailer.

Based on the book Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, the eagerly-anticipated film tells the story of closeted teen Simon (Jurassic World’s Nick Robinson) as he falls in love with an anonymous classmate online while trying desperately to keep his secret from his family and friends.

Directed by Arrow and Riverdale producer Greg Berlanti, husband of former Premier League football star Robbie Rogers, Love, Simon marks one of the first major studio coming out stories to be aimed specifically at a teen audience, and is already generating plenty buzz ahead of its planned March release.

As well as supporting turns from the likes of Jennifer Garner (Dallas Buyer’s Club) and Josh Duhamel (Transformers), the movie also boasts one hell of a soundtrack produced by fun.’s Jack Antonoff, who’s pennned hits for everyone from Taylor Swift to Lorde.

Antonff’s band Bleachers released the first summery first single from the soundtrack ‘Alfie’s Song (Not So Typical Love Song)’ on Tuesday (January 16), with the full soundtrack set to drop on 16 March to coincide with the movie’s release.

Featuring songs from some of our faves including Troye Sivan, The 1975 and Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordoi, it’s safe to say Love, Simon is gonna set the tune of our 2018.
