Following a highly successful run at film festivals, the hottest gay movie of the year has finally landed on DVD and iTunes.

Centre of My World, also known as Die Mitte der Welt, was one of the leading films at this year’s BFI Flare LGBT Film Festival and the coming-of-age drama is based on the best-selling novel by Andreas Steinhöfel.

After three weeks away at summer camp, teenager Phil (Louis Hofmann) returns to his home, called Visible, which he shares with his nonconformist mother, Glass, and twin sister Dianne, who seems less enthusiastic about his return.

After spending the last remaining days of his vacation with best friend Kat, Phil returns to school where he falls for attractive newcomer Nicholas (Jannik Schümann). After wrestling with his feelings, Phil is shocked when Nicholas makes the first move on him and he begins his first real love affair.

However, his family causes problems for Phil as he begins to realise his new relationship with Nicholas might not last forever.

The film has won over 15 awards and was played in over 50 film festivals all over the world. Now, however, you’ll finally be able to watch it in the comfort of your living room.
