Gay couple fight homophobia on ‘France’s Got Talent’ with emotional acrobatic routine
Partners Arthur and Guillaume wowed the judges with a sensual dance performance.

A gay couple have wowed judges on France’s Got Talent with an acrobatic dance routine designed to challenge homophobia and celebrate same-sex love.
Franco-Quebec dancers Arthur and Guillaume took the the stage for the audition round of La France a un incroyable talent this week, telling the judges: “We are going to present you a number against homophobia.”
The pair, who have been in a relationship for four years, proceeded to deliver an emotional and sensual routine soundtracked by Jeff Buckley’s ‘Hallelujah’ – sharing a kiss that was broadcast around France (and the world) in the process.
The couple’s moving display impressed the French panel, with judge and singer Hélène Ségara saying (quotes via Têtu): “It was so beautiful and so tender at the same time. I think that with or without a message, I would have found it beautiful, it feels good.”
Actress Marianne James continued: “You do not see that often in television, two boys kissing on the mouth and it touches me infinitely. You are very elegant.”
Joining his fellow judges in sending Arthur and Guillame through to the next round, judge and actor Eric Antoince added: “The violence continues to rise, so there is a battle to continue,”
