Game of Thrones’ Sophie Turner wants Sansa Stark to reconsider her sexuality

By Samuel McManus

Game of Thrones

character Sansa Stark hasn’t been the most lucky in love, has she? After suffering relationships with the cruel Joffrey Baratheon and Ramsay Bolton, actress Sophie Turner is calling for Sansa to find love again – this time with a girl.

Speaking to EW, Sophie commented on her character’s love life, saying “In the GoT universe, I think she’s going to have to swing the other way – because the men thing isn’t working for her.”

Sophie also went on to reveal which character she’d like to see Sansa experiment with, and it’s none other than the queen, Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer), “Judging by Sansa’s relationship with Margaery… probably Margaery.”

Natalie-Dormer

Meanwhile, the actress who plays Margaery, Natalie Dormer, recently joked that it was time for King’s Landing to show some gay pride following the arrest of her character’s brother Loras (Finn Jones) on buggery charges.

“I’ll be right there with the rainbow flags,” she said.

And with Sansa in tow, potentially? We can already imagine the fanfics that will be shared across the web about these two.
