Emma Stone is to make her Broadway debut in Cabaret.

The 25-year-old actress will play Sally Bowles in the Tony-nominated 2014 revival of the classic Kander and Ebb musical, replacing Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Willams in the role.

The Amazing Spider-Man actress will take her first bow on November 11, reports Deadline, and continue to star as Bowles until February 2015.

The acclaimed revival is directed by Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall, and also stars Alan Cumming as the Emcee of infamous Berlin drinking den The Kit Kat Club.

Over the years, the iconic role of Sally Bowles has been played by actresses including Jill Haworth, Gina Gershon, Lea Thompson, Judi Dench and, most famously, by Liza Minelli in the Oscar-winning 1972 film of the same name.

Meanwhile, Minnelli was recently forced to pull out of a performance in which she and Alan Cumming were due to sing songs from Cabaretfind out more here.
