Edwina Currie, Jake Quickenden to appear on ‘I’m a Celeb’

Edwina Currie and Jake Quickenden are set to star in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
Former MP and LGBT rights advocate Currie, 68, and X Factor star Jake Quickenden, 26, will make their first appearance on tonight’s episode of the ITV show (November 20).
Before entering the jungle, Currie – who famously fronted a 1994 campaign to equalise the age of consent in the UK – argued that her time working as a politician will help her survive the outback.
“I used to meet a lot of rats in politics. I can deal with the two-legged variety,” said Currie in a press release. “The four-legged sort, we’ll find out when I get in there.”
Quickenden, who appeared in a naked photoshoot for Attitude’s Awards Issue (November), has admitted that the lack of food in the jungle will be his biggest challenge.
“I was eating like a horse when I left the X Factor house and so I am going to really miss my food,” said the X Factor fittie. “I had no time to prepare for the experience beforehand and I know I probably will go a bit mad on no food but I am not going to complain. I am so happy to be part of this.”
