We have a feeling that Albert Square is about to get a lot more charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent with the arrival of the show’s first-ever drag queen (purse first, we assume)

The latest addition to Eastender‘s eclectic bunch of characters is none other than Felix Baker, or should we say, Tara Misu.

Felix (Matthew Morrison) is the younger son of Mitch’s (Roger Griffiths) estranged brother Avery (Omar Lye-Fook).

Arriving alongside Avery and Finlay (Ashley Byam), his older half-brother, Felix/Tara is sure to be stirring things up in Walford.

On the role, Matthew Morrison says: “I am blessed to have the opportunity to step into the heels of the fierce Tara Misu as part of my role on EastEnders. It’s a privilege to represent the LGBTQIA+ community and to showcase the creative art of drag to both viewers at home and the residents of Walford.”

Watch as Matthew meets Eastenders legend Natalie Cassidy as well Drag Race UK‘s Vinegar Strokes sharing why leaving the house without a nail is a no go.

The Attitude July/August issue is out now.
