Sir Elton John and Dua Lipa have teased their collaboration on a brand new single, ‘Cold Heart (PNAU remix)’, which is being released on Friday (13 August)

The single marks the first time the two have collaborated on a track after Sir Elton appeared as a guest on Dua’s 2054 livestream in November, and Dua headlined Sir Elton’s Oscar party earlier this year.

From the snippet we’ve got, we can’t wait to listen to the full thing!

“An incredible experience”

Posting on Instagram the stars were clearly excited for the song’s release. Sir Elton posted: “I am so excited to finally be able to tell you all that I have a new single with Dua Lipa ‘Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)’ coming out this Friday!

“Dua, I adore you, and it has been an incredible experience making this together. I can’t wait for you all to hear it!”

Dua, who also posted the same snippet on her account, commented “I love you!!!! I’m so excited.”

The short snippet starts with Sir Elton before Dua comes in with the lyrics to John’s hit ‘Rocketman’ indicating we’re going to get a bit of something old and something new.

Two icons coming together – just what we need to give us that Friday feeling!
