It seems these days we’re never short of Drag Race-related news and here’s another MAJOR announcement – the long rumoured international All-stars version of the Olympics of drag is finally confirmed!

RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK Versus the World is official.

While we have very few details as of right now, what we do now is enough to keep us going until the start of Drag Race‘s 14th season, which debuts on 7 January.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the new format will be hosted here in the UK with RuPaul being joined by fellow Drag Race UK judges Michelle Visage, Alan Carr, and Graham Norton.

As well as a wealth of drag queens from across the Drag Race universe, there is also a healthy number of guest judges to choose from.

Nine queens from any Drag Race season that’s ever taken place are said to be battling it out to be crowned the world’s first Global Drag Race Superstar. There have been no official casting announcements yet, but we’re sure many are already speculating who will be up for the show’s first series.

The series will begin during BBC Three’s launch night in early-February and will also be available on the BBC iPlayer, the broadcaster has confirmed.

EW reports the series will be available in the US on World of Wonder’s streaming service, WOW Presents Plus.

2021 has been a killer year for Drag Race content with two seasons of Drag Race UK, Drag Race US’ 13th season, an All Stars, the first Drag Race Down Under, Canada’s Drag Race S2, Drag Race Holland, Drag Race España, Drag Race Italia.

A third season of Drag Race Thailand was announced this year, as well as the first French series and a Philippines version.
