‘Drag Race Thailand’ is coming to US TV and you can watch the trailer here

We're gagging on a global scale.

By Will Stroude

Just in case All Stars 3 followed by possibly the strongest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race yet hasn’t been enough to sate your drag hunger, the show’s first international spin-off is coming to the US.

Drag Race Thailand, which wrapped its first season less than two weeks ago, is set to begin streaming on WOW Presents Plus next month, so fans can witness the wig-snatching as 10 queens compete to be crowned Thailand’s Next Drag Superstar.

Hosted by fashion stylist Art-Araya In-dra and drag performer Pangina Heals, the eight-episode series will be available (with English subtitles, natch) from May 4, and if the shady-as-hell trailer is anything to go by, the queens will have no problem living up to thw show’s sickening standards.

Also: get a load of that Thai Pit Crew (as it were).

“We were fortunate enough to be on set for some of the taping of Drag Race Thailand and we were left breathless!” says RuPaul’s Drag Race executive producer Fenton Bailey. “Be prepared to gag!”

If you can’t wait for Drag Race Thailand to air, then more good news, because the show’s Chilean sister show – The Switch Drag Race – began streaming on WOW Presents Plus on Monday (April 16).

However will we fit it all in? (Don’t answer that).

Drag Race Thailand premieres on WOW Presents Plus on May 4 and Chile’s The Switch Race is available to stream now.
