Diana Ross has announced her first album in 15 years, titled Thank YouNo, thank you, Diana!

The LP will drop this autumn, with the title track and first single ‘Thank You’ available for streaming and download on 17 June.

Recorded in her home studio, Thank You will feature 13 Diana co-written songs; contributing songwriters and producers include Jack Antonoff, Troy Miller and Triangle Park. It will be released through Decca Records/Universal Music Group.

“As you hear my voice you hear my heart”

In a statement, the Supremes icon – who first went solo in 1970, before scoring hits like ‘I’m Coming Out’ and ‘Chain Reaction’ – said: “Singing is my beautiful, delicious obsession.

“I dedicate this songbook of love to all of you, the listeners. As you hear my voice you hear my heart.”

The 77-year-old added: “This collection of songs is my gift to you with appreciation and love. I am eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to record this glorious music at this time.”

As a member of The Supremes, Diana is also known for hits like ‘Stop In the Name of Love’ and ‘Baby Love’.
