Goodrem played Nina Tucker between 2002 and 2003, and returned in 2005 for the 20th anniversary celebrations.

It is thought that Nina’s return to Erinsborough will have a musical connection, as Nina left to be a singer and actress. Goodrem’s debut single Born To Try was performed on the show in 2002.

The 30-year-old confirmed her appearance by tweeting:

‘ series producer Jason Herbison added: “It’s only natural that music would somehow be involved. Having Delta join us for this momentous occasion is the icing on the cake, we are delighted.”

Since leaving the soap, Goodrem has established herself as a singer, releasing four albums: Innocent Eyes, Mistaken Identity, Delta and Child of the Universe. She is currently working on her fifth record.
