Daniel Radcliffe: ‘I can’t get enough of getting naked!’

Daniel Radcliffe has joked that he “can’t get enough” of acting roles that require nudity.

The Harry Potter actor has stripped down for numerous roles during his career, including stage play Equus, which he starred in on Broadway and in the West End, and last year’s acclaimed film Kill Your Darlings, in which he played Beat poet Allen Ginsberg.

Radcliffe, 25, has now explained that stripping off for Equus when he was just 17 years old helped him to shed inhibitions about nudity that other actors may have.

“I can’t get enough of it!” the 25-year-old said in an interview with E!.

“It’s not something that I’m trying to achieve,” he continued. “It’s something that I don’t have a problem with. I did the play where I got naked, once you do that you don’t really care. It immunes you to any inhibitions. Again, not something I seek out but never something I’m going to shy away from.”

Radcliffe, who stars in the forthcoming romantic comedy What If, also recalled that he joked around with his co-star Zoe Kazan while shooting a skinny-dipping scene for the film.

“She had ‘Hi, Dan’ written on her nipple pasties. I think I tried to write ‘Hi, Zoe’ on my bum but I’ve got quite a small bum,” Radcliffe said.

Meanwhile, Zac Efron has also revealed that he is open to taking on more roles that require nudity – read more here.

What If is released on August 20 in the UK. Watch the trailer below:
