Courtney Act made waves Down Under last week as part of Dancing with the Stars Australia’s first same-sex pairing (well, technically at least) – and the former RuPaul’s Drag Race finalist just spiced up our f*****g life with a second killer performance.
Courtney, aka Shane Jarek, brought some serious Girl Power to the stage for week two of the competition on Sunday night (23 February) as she performed a Latin number to the sound of the Spice Girls’ ‘Wannabe’.
The Celebrity Big Brother winner donned a replica of Geri Halliwell’s iconic Union Jack dress as she strutted her stuff on stage with professional partner Josha O’Keefe, and even dressed up as Baby, Scary, Sporty and Posh for some pre-recorded back-up moves.
Courtney might have missed out on representing Australia at Eurovision earlier this month, but given her track record on televised competition formats, that could yet prove to be a costly error for the Aussies…
One things for sure: the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing better be paying attention.
