Charlie and Max Carver to star in new MTV series

By Fabio Crispim

Charlie Carver, who came out as gay January this year, and brother Max are set to appear in and produce a new MTV series.

Produced by Drew Barrymore, Blooms will be a crime drama and a coming of age story as two twin brothers learn of each other’s existence after the murder of their father who leaves them his criminal empire, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The twins, who are best-known for their roles MTV’s Teen Wolf and as Desperate Housewives’ Porter and Preston Scavo, made the announcement on Instagram yesterday (May 5).

“So excited to finally share the news!” Charlie wrote. “Thank you MTV and Drew Barrymore… This is our first project in front and behind the camera. Thanks Max Carver for keeping the faith and helping our ideas flower #Blooms”

As of yet there is no premiere date for the series, but Blooms marks the siblings’ first onscreen outing together since Teen Wolf.
