Céline Dion has released the video for her new single ‘Courage’ – and it’s a heartbreaking watch.

The legendary singer, 51, ruminates on love and loss on the title track from her upcoming 12th Enligh-language album, almost four years after the death of her husband, Angélil, from throat cancer in January 2016.

In a sparse black and white video, Dion appears visibly emotional as she sings: “I would be lying if I said: ‘I’m fine’ / I think of you at least a hundred times… / I still come home from a long day / So much to talk about, so much to say / I love to think that we’re still making plans.”

Dion wed her longtime manager Angélil in her native Quebec in 1994, before welcoming a son René-Charles, in 2001 and twins Eddy and Nelson in 2010.

Just two days after Angélil’s passing in 2016, the ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer also lost her brother Daniel from cancer.

The release of Courage – out this Friday (15 November) comes ahead of Celine’s return to the UK on the ‘Courage World Tour’ next year.

The legendary singer will perform in venues in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and London in 2020 following an acclaimed headline performance at British Summer Time Hyde Park earlier this summer.
