Calvin Harris accuses Taylor Swift of trying to 'bury him like Katy' in public Twitter rant

Well, all that continued “love and respect” didn’t last long, did it?

Yep, less than two months after their relationship came to an abrupt end, Calvin Harris has torn Taylor Swift to shreds on Twitter in a no-hold-barred rant in which he accuses his former girlfriend of trying to publicly stitch him up because she needs “someone new to bury like Katy”.

Oh yeah, he went there.

The Scottish DJ broke up with Swift back in May, just days before the 26-year-old ‘Shake It Off’ singer quickly began a very public relationship with British actor Tom Hiddleston.

After sharing a link to a PEOPLE article in which Swift’s rep confirms that the singer wrote Harris and Rihanna’s current hit single ‘This Is What You Came For’, Calvin publicly slammed his ex and her team for trying to “go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad”.

And it all went downhill from there.

Accusing Swift of trying to tear him down “for something to do”, Harris compared his situation to that of Katy Perry, who referred to Swift as a “Regina George in sheep’s clothing” after it emerged that the former country star’s diss track ‘Bad Blood’ was about her.

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone to bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guys, sorry. I won’t allow it”, Harris wrote.

“Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life, because you’ve earned a great one” he added.
